I quite like working with these Atlas scout style ships. :) Thanks for sharing, also like seeing how other people tackle things! from what you had left at the start of this shift, it looks like we go about it -- at least in terms of the superstructural elements -- in a pretty similar fashion! Although I will say, after 2x missed attempts at that last pipe junction on the thruster... I was pretty sure was going to see some ka-boom as you commented on my journal entry recently, haha.

I could never get past the tutorial ship because I'm just not good at this game, so it's nice to see more advanced level play

It's 2023 and I still miss this game, and it's not easy to find mention of it now its name had been used elsewhere. This was a beautiful, unique wonder. RIP.

These combat to me just looks sooooo boring. Wish it was more in line of the old D&D "turn" base games with active combat but strategy pausing for setting spells and positioning, these is just.... eh boring!

its cos of voxels size use 1 min voxel size bigger .should be at 45deagrees. i had same problems with house cealing beams , wanted one "fallen" down-like

I was reading Hacker News and saw Daniel Cook's g+ "Donating my Xbox" (highly recommended; the H/N discussion, too). Checked out Spry Fox. I was aware of Triple Town, but in the description of Leap Day the phrase "massive crafting networks" caught my eye. (Building factories and crafting networks are the point of Minecraft mods I enjoy such as Redpower 2). The Leap Day page won't load, and I don't have time to play ATM, so I UA-cam it and there's Pete from Dragonchasers! Hi Pete!

Pete is this a software capture or did you buy a capture card? I'll say this looks heads and shoulders above PS1 and even the UI looks more appropriate for a shooter.

The lightning effects show quite well though. This is really intriguing for me, because I'm currently working on storm effects in a game mod. My lightning is already done, it's similar, but doesn't look as nice.
